A good start together

Using Meet Your Rescue.

Meet Your Rescue is operated by Alongside Pets LLC, a Washington limited liability company. It helps people discover adoptable pets and connect with the organizations responsible for them. These terms are an agreement between you and Alongside Pets LLC.

Information about pets

Live listing information is provided by participating organizations through RescueGroups.org. Availability and details can change. The organization caring for a pet is the right place to confirm their location, needs, adoption fees and adoption process.

Missing information is shown as not provided. A description of a pet’s behavior is information supplied by their organization, rather than a guarantee about how that pet will behave in every home.

Example pets

Pages labeled as a preview use fictional pet profiles and illustrative photos. They demonstrate the website and are not adoption offers. We do not send adoption inquiries from example profiles.

Following up

Adoption applications, meetings, decisions and payments take place directly with the shelter or rescue. Meet Your Rescue does not currently collect adoption applications or process adoption fees.

Respecting listings

Please use this website to find a pet or help someone else find one. Listing data and photos remain subject to their owners’ rights and the source provider’s terms. A public listing does not grant permission to republish a bulk copy of the data.

Governing law

Washington State law governs these terms, except where the law of the place you live gives you rights that cannot be waived.
